We had a "Ralph Photo of the Year Competition" at school. All of the Room 1 children got to choose their favourite photo of Ralph and enter it into the competition. The whole school voted for their favourite photo. The lucky winners were:

1ST = LILY

2ND = JODIE

3RD = CAMERON

The prize winners got a certificate and a chocolate fish. Ralph was a very happy cat as he got a chocolate fish too!

Friday 31st October

Hi Ralph. Nice to see you again. It is the first time you've come home with me. My brother Sam has bought you here twice before.

It's Halloween tonight, but Ralph and I didn't want to dress up. Sam did though.

Saturday 1st November

It was really cold and windy today so we went to the Museum to have a look around. We got fish and chips on the way home. Katelyn and Nicole came for a visit too and gave Ralph lots of cuddles.

Sunday 2nd November

Sam and I went to a birthday party at Abordale, Mosgiel. My friend Fletcher from Kindy turned 5 but I hurt my neck on a bouncy castle and had to leave early as it was sore.

Ralph hangs out with Aliya

Today Aliya and her sister Shontel had taken Ralph to stay at their Aunty Shirlee's house to stay with their youngest cousin Sjaam. They played games all day and all night. Aliya, Shontel and Ralph played on their cousin's bouncing castle. They had a really good time. After that they had tea. It was chicken fried rice. It was really yummy too. After dinner they all played more games. They stayed up late because it was a short school holiday (Labour Weekend).

Aliya is giving Ralph cuddles while they watch TV and movies. They are watching Hard Ball. Aliya and Shontel might go to the swimming pool tomorrow with Ralph or Time Zone and they are really excited and can't wait. They are allowed to spend some money out of their piggy bank. They have a piggy bank at their Aunty Shirlee's.

Aliya, Shontel and Ralph are listening to the rain and wind. It's really bad weather outside.

26/10/08

Today we got up at Aunty Shirlee's and had breakfast, got changed, brushed our hair and teeth. Ralph too! We went to town. We went and spent $5 each at Time Zone. It was so cool. Ralph enjoyed it too. Then we went back to Aunty Shirlee's, had lunch and waited for Mum to come and pick us up. Mum got the game Gvatar Hero 3. It was fun. I couldn't really play it but we gave it a go! On our way home we stopped and got my favourite pasta, ricotta and parmesan tortellini. Yummy, yum, yum! Ralph didn't want to eat it because it was green. But Mum told him it was delicious!

After tea we had a shower. Ralph went into the wash and we all went to bed.

27/10/08

Yay. No school!! Today we went to the beach, Doctor's Point. We went fishing and caught three fish. YUMMY. We went and got cockles and had a BBQ with my family. My Aunties were there and my uncles and my cousins. Even my Aunty and Uncle from Ashburton. Man it was great. The weather was so lovely. I went swimming three times. Mum and some of my Aunties got a bit sunburned. "OUCH" Silly because they didn't put sunscreen lotion on. We stayed there for a little while. I didn't want to leave. Ralph didn't as well. He wanted to stay and play with Boss and Lucky, my Aunty's dogs.

We all enjoyed Ralph's company. We also forgot to take the camera for photos but next time we will. Thanks Ralph for joining our family for Labour Weekend. It was such a good time and we had heaps of fun. You're welcome anytime. We all hope to see you again.

Ralph and Lily's Holiday Adventures

Friday 26th of September

Ralph came home with Lily today! They were so happy to see each other. They spent the rest of the afternoon playing and cuddling. At dinner time, Ralph shared Hammie's food!

Saturday 27th of September

Today we were supposed to got to Alexandra but it's raining and snowing there. So instead we've decided that Ralph has been playing too hard with his friends in Room 1 and needed a bath at Lily's Salon again!

Sunday 28th of September

Whew! Now that Ralph is clean, it's time to go play!

Ralph went to Alexandra with us. We saw the museum and climbed up to the big clock and visited the old bridge. Then when we got in the car Ralph got to drive the car and it was fun.

Monday 29th of September-3rd October

Lily and Ralph played, watched TV and snuggled the whole week enjoying every minute of the first week of break!

Saturday 4th of October

We decided to go visit the Mapoutahi Pa near where we live. It is an area from the past where a Maori tribe lived and fought a battle with another tribe. Lily decided that Ralph should go too!

When we were there we found a long rope swing. We all took turns swinging on the swing and Ralph did too. It was fun!

We also played in the sand and Ralph took a nap.

October 11th & 12th

We are coming to the end of Ralph's visit. He's done many things and has been on a few adventures! He even got to see a couple of hedgehogs from our backyard! Lily missed it though - she wouldn't wake up!

We will miss you Ralph. I hope you come see us again.

Friday 19th of September

Tyla was excited to know that she was bringing Ralph home to her house this weekend. The first thing she did was to show Ann & Bill her next door neighbours. Ralph enjoyed their garden.

Saturday 20th of September

Tyla wasn't feeling well so Tyla, Ralph and Joel watched a video together. I think Ralph enjoyed the relaxation as he is such an outgoing cat. He enjoyed the home comforts such as Joel's spongee chair.

Sunday 21st of September

Ralph had a great time with Tyla and her cousin Zed. They played outside on the swing set and climbed on the fireman's ladder.

Tyla loved sharing her weekend with Ralph and hopes to have him again soon.

Ralph visits Manaal

Friday 12th of September

RALPH'S WEEKEND WITH AN INDIAN FAMILY

I was bought to Manaal's house by his neighbour Briana as Manaal wasn't feeling well. Manaal was very excited to see me. As soon as he got his hands on me he gave me millions of cuddles and hugs. He held me so tightly I felt like I couldn't breathe.

Manaal introduced me to all his toy friends and I was very happy to make new friends with 'Stitch and Orangutan'.

On Friday night Manaal made a special Indian dinner for me. I had Rice Coconut 'n' Beef Curry and Crispy Pappadoms. The dinner was very delicious and I wish that I could have more Indian food.

Saturday 13th of September

On Saturday morning Manaal and I played a lot with his little brother Mishaal who is just 5 months old. We made some freaky sounds to get his attention and I think he was very fond of my meow-meow!

In the afternoon I played with Manaal's dinosaur friends and i was so terrified to see the ferocious meat eater Tyrannosaurus Rex but later on I built a good rapport with him.

In the evening we watched Mannal's favourite 'Disney Channel'. We had a splendid time watching Zack & Cody! By night we were so tired we fell asleep very early.

Sunday 14th of September

On Sunday we had a good time reading books. Manaal was teaching me phonics and I had a nice time trying it. Since Manaal's Dad was on On-Call Duty that day we couldn't go out anywhere. So we played on the swing in our backyard.

Hi Ralph, nice to see you here again. Sam was pleased that you've come to stay for the weekend. We shared fish & chips with Ralph for tea. He really liked that.

SATURDAY 6th SEPTEMBER 08

It was a nice day, but quite cold still. We mainly watched DVDs or played with lego.

SUNDAY 7th SEPTEMBER 08

Ralph and I visited the Chinese Gardens with Mum, Nick, Grandma & Aunty Maureen. We had lots of fun there climbing over rocks. We also went to Video Ezy to take back DVDs and Ralph and I played with my friend Kyle in the afternoon.

We went to my mate Tyla's and took Ralph for a ride in Dad's new BMW car. On Saturday we took Ralph to my Dad's for the night and on Sunday we took Ralph to The Warehouse. We got a doll and a car seat. On Monday I rode my bike with Ralph.

MY WEEK WITH BILLY

Ralph had a wash in the washing machine. Billy has been sick so Ralph really just had a chilled week and got to eat some of Billy's pebbles.

Ralph got lots of hugs from Billy's Mum and Dad as well as meeting Billy's favourite toy Blackie.

Then late one night Ralph got into Billy's Dad's energy drinks and had a lot of fun.

Then our family decided that Ralph should be 'Star of the Week'. He got lots of hugs.

Finally we got all tired and went to sleep on the couch. Ralph had lots of fun and we look forward to seeing him again.

On Friday, Aliya brought Ralph home. We all were excited and so was Ralph. Ralph came to my Aunty Pam's and Steven's house for tea. We had roast lamb and kumara, potatoes, pumpkin, broccoli with cheese sauce, corn on the cob and gravy. It was soooo yummy <: We ate it all up!

After Pam's we went and got dvds. They were The Water Horse and The Reef. They were good movies.

On Saturday we boxed. Ralph didn't want to so he watched. After we went to the fish and chip shop for tea. Ralph had fish. So did I. We had so much fun. We hope to see Ralph again <:

Saturday & Sunday, 9th -10th of August

Just a quick 'hello' from Ralph, your number one 'Kool Kat' from Pine Hill School. I had a real busy busy weekend so I'm very very tired and think I could sleep all week!!

At Jodie's house I made two new friends, Roxy and Nike. Jodie said they were dogs but I think they were really animated dishmops!! They were very friendly though and did everything with us over the weekend too, which included going to the Farmers Market (cool fun), lots of housework (I was a bit messy); reading;

... tonnes of washing (I kept spilling my food on my clothes);

... trying to keep warm after the hail settled on the ground like snow;

... picking up building supplies from Mega;

... having a picnic outside when it was sunny;

... dancing, playing, visiting Jodie's Oma & Opa, open homing, chainsawing (but I had to watch as I didn't have my safety gear); having a quick 'cat nap';

... talking on the telephone;

... and even a minute to stop and smell the flowers. Phew! And that was only a little of what we did!

FRIDAY 1st AUGUST 2008

Ralph came home with Holly for the weekend... Holly wasn't feeling well and didn't go to school today so when big sister Danya arrived home with Ralph, Holly was very excited. Holly had been hoping to spend more time with Ralph and was very proud to be "Room 1 Star of the Week".

Ralph spent Friday administering lots of cuddles to an unwell Holly. Outside was very rainy.

SATURDAY 2nd AUGUST 2008

Ralph rested inside today while Holly helped her Dad and brother stack firewood. It was hard work. In the evening Ralph got to meet Holly's friend Kama, who babysat while Holly's Mum and Dad went out. Ralph liked Kama a lot!

SUNDAY 3rd AUGUST 2008

Ralph had fun today playing with 'My Scene' and 'Bratz' dolls with Holly, Danya and Holly's Mum.

FRIDAY

Hello there Ralph, welcome back to Turi's house. Turi, Mariah and Ariana all played really well with Ralph. While they made huts in the lounge, Ralph was very happy just to watch!

SATURDAY

It was a very wet and cold day. Everybody watched DVDs with Ralph on Saturday morning and in the afternoon Turi, Mariah, Ariana and Grayson went off to Chipmunks on the bus. We left Ralph at home in the company of our cat Sooty.

SUNDAY

Ralph had a great time playing with his new friends he made: Sooty the Kitten and the "soft" friends!

Onawa & Ralph

July 2008

Ralph came to stay with Onawa for the July school holidays.

On Sunday the 6th he watched the All Blacks beat South Africa with Onawa, Kesi and Anton. Later that day he played games on the computer with Onawa and surfed the net.

Onawa took Ralph for a ride on her Dad's motorcycle.

She also read him stories.

Ralph got to meet Onawa's lion, Mufasa.

Sunday 13th July 2008, was Onawa's 6th birthday. Ralph made friends with Onawa's new friend, Rosie the Cat.

Thanks for staying with me for the holidays Ralph. We'll miss you.

Ralph came home from school with Lily today! They were both so excited to be together again. They played and snuggled for the rest of the afternoon. Then after dinner they brushed their teeth and snuggled up in bed for the night.

Then Ralph drank too much fizzy drink!

Then we decided that Ralph needed a bath.

Then he went to Lily's Salon to have his fur done up! Now he is a cute kitten!

At the end of Ralph's visit he and Hammie had a good wrestle!

Friday 20th June

Yah! Tyla has Ralph to bring home. He was happy to ride on Joel's bike.

Ralph was lucky enough to meet Tyla's Aunty Julie as she brought us pizza for dinner. Ralph had an awesome time eating pizza.

We had hours of fun outside playing on the swing and climbing trees. What a great day...

Sunday was busy too visiting Grandad Garry and Lesley feeding their birds and fish. We also enjoyed swinging on the swing seat. What fun we had.

Friday 6/6/08

It's been 5 months since Ralph's last visit with Sujata, so it is great that they both have been reunited. It was a lazy afternoon for them both. They sat down in front of the television and watched the Bee Movie with Sujata's brother James and sister Birkita.

Saturday 7/6/08

Ralph and Sujata went to Noel Leemings to pick up some items for the family. They both enjoyed the ride and looking around Noel Leemings. Ralph played with Sujata, James and Birkita. They all enjoyed playing with each other. The day was a cold one so most of the time was spent playing inside.

Sunday 8/7/08

Snowed overnight - little dusting of snow covering the ground but it didn't last long. A very cold and windy day - Ralph and Sujata stayed inside - the sun tried to shine. A very cold three days but that didn't stop Ralph from enjoying his weekend with the family. On Sunday evening Ralph packed his bag for the trip back to school on Monday morning.

Monday 9/7/08

Monday morning 8.40am. Ralph and Sujata leave the house for school. Both Sujata and Ralph have had a great time.

Surprise, surprise, a flying visit from Ralph. Spent the evening acting the clown with Sujata's brother and sister. Guess Ralph just couldn't stay away. Ralph also watched some television and had a play with the playstation. Ralph also got to read a book. It was another cold evening and after tea Ralph called it a night.

FRIDAY 23rd MAY 08
Hello Ralph, finally nice to meet you.

After school today Sam took Ralph to meet Rory who used to be in Room 1. Rory liked Ralph and showed him his new watch.

On Saturday Sam gave Ralph some milo and while Sam went to Chipmunks for a birthday party with his brother Nick, Ralph read some books and relaxed in the warmth while waiting for them to come home. He had their dogs Bella and Cosmo for company.

SUNDAY 25th MAY
Today Ralph had some toast for breakfast and then had to have a lie down, as he ate too much. Later we went to The Warehouse, but Ralph had to stay in the car (in case they thought we'd bought him from there!) We did some writing later. We wrote 'Sam' and 'Ralph'. We also went to Video Ezy and I hired a Yu-Gi-Oh game. Afterwards Ralph helped me build my Star Wars lego that I got today.

Ralph visits Onawa

On Friday afternoon, Ralph came home with Onawa. They were both tired, so they watched TV. They cuddled up in the armchair together. Ralph read books in bed with Onawa on Friday night.

SATURDAY 17th MAY 2008
Ralph went bowling with Onawa and her Dad on Saturday morning. Ralph just watched, snuggled up in a blanket. We saw a clown.

In the afternoon Ralph and Onawa played Bingo on the computer.

Then they both spent the evening in pyjamas.

SUNDAY 18th MAY 2008
On Sunday, Onawa, Ralph and Kesi woke Mum, Dad and Anton at 6am. Onawa and Ralph spent the morning snuggled up on the couch.

On Sunday afternoon, Onawa and Ralph played the new Noggin game on the computer.

The Cat With Nine Lives!

Last week Ralph was mauled by a dog! Ralph sustained injuries to his face, eyes and paw. But do not worry! Ralph is a cat with nine lives! He has been patched up and is already out on new adventures with the children in Room 1.

It is not the last you will see of Ralph!
(But I do not think he will be keen on hanging out with anymore dogs in the future!)

Friday 9th May
What a big surprise it was to find out Ralph was coming to our place! After school on Friday Ralph and Cameron went to Michelle's house and Ralph made friends with Muntles the Cat and the wee grey kitten. Ralph had lots of fun there. Then it was home for dinner and to meet Cameron's Uncle Stevie and Auntie Sarah. Cameron, Ralph, Dione and Cameron's younger sister had McDonald's for dinner that night, then had a bath and went to bed.

Saturday 10th May
Got up at 8am. Had breakfast and off to the park for a wee play before lunch. Ralph really enjoyed the swings and slide.

Sunday 11th May
We have had such a busy time with Ralph and Coco, Dione's puppy dog enjoyed Ralph's company too! Thank you Ralph. We have enjoyed having you here at Cameron's house. Hope to see you again soon after some more fun and exciting adventures.

Ralph loves Bob Bickerton!

On the 6th of May, Bob Bickerton came to Pine Hill School to show us lots of cool musical instruments. Ralph was very impressed that Bob has been playing music for 33 years!

Bob had so many instruments. He played a:

Harmonica
Accordian
Kazoo
Guitar
Violin
Harp
Drum

Ralph loved the harp the best. He thought it was beautiful and that the music was very romantic!

Ralph learned something new about music. He now knows that long things tend to sound low and short things tend to sound high. Bob Bickerton told Ralph this was called "pitch".

Ralph can't wait to learn how to play some different instruments with the Room 1 children this term!

18th April 2008 - RALPH & HOLLY

It was a very cold blustery Friday that Holly took Ralph home for the first time. Because of the weather, we all went home to a nice warm house for introductions. Ralph was very pleased to make an acquaintance with little brother Damien and big sister Danya.

19th April 2008 'Saturday' and 20th April 2008 'Sunday'

Saturday morning Ralph and Holly were up early, it was a cold morning so Holly and Ralph snuggled under cover to watch some early morning television together.

Sunday heralded a trip to the museum. Ralph had a great time with the butterflies in the rainforest and afterward Holly spun him around and around in a turtle shell, what fun!

Saturday 26th April

Today Ralph went to gymnastics with Holly. Ralph enjoyed stretching exercises but loved the beam most of all.

Monday 28th April

Today Ralph was meant to visit Holly's friends on their wee farmlet but Holly's friend was sick so the day was changed. To Ralph's delight he went to KFC for lunch instead... "Mmm yum" said Ralph.

Thursday 1st May

Finally... Ralph had a great time at Holly's friend's farmlet. He made a great new friend, "Ginger" the guinea pig. They were BFF (Best Friends Forever).

Sunday 4th May

What a fantastic time we have had sharing our holidays with Ralph. Holly would like to say...

"I love you Ralph, thank you for visiting me. I hope you visit again one day".

Ralph visits Serlina & Pony

Welcome to our place Ralph! It's quite an interesting experience for Serlina & Pony. They were happy to have him home.

Ralph and Serlina welcomed their classmates Sujata, Sam and Tyla. They came over to have a party. They played together on the trampoline, tree house and over the farm. They had a great times and dreams that night.

It's a sunny day. We had morning tea at the deck. Later on that afternoon, we went to Moeraki Boulders to see the natural formed , large stones and the lighthouse to see the Yellow-eyed Penguins. I think Ralph had a good time as we did because we both fell fast asleep earlier than usual.

After school we had some snacks with Ralph. Then we played a role play game. I was the Queen, Pony was the King and Ralph certainly was our child cat. Ha ha ha...

I left Ralph with my little brother Ryan and asked him to look after him for me.

Pony didn't feel well yesterday but she felt better today, then she promised me to take care of Ralph for me today.

Tonight was Pony's sister Jinny's birthday. We made a cake for her and decorated it with Ralph. Guess he liked chocolate too. Yum!

Ralph visits Tyla

The Adventures Ralph & Tyla had over the weekend

Ralph was thrilled to revisit Sujata's home with Tyla this time. He ate all his afternoon tea, feeling full and tired.

When we took Ralph back to Tyla's house. Tyla introduced Ralph to all her toys. Can you find him?

Tyla was excited to inform Ralph that today we will be attending her friend Ethan's birthday. Ralph asked "Will there be cake?" Ralph mentioned he liked to eat cake. YUM! YUM!

While at Ethan's birthday, Ralph had many goes on the slide. He thought this was fun.

Tyla wanted to push Ralph on the swing since he enjoyed the slide so much. It seems Ralph is a bit of a dare devil!

Sunday afternoon Ralph was lucky enough to go to Tyla's cousins house. Ralph had his photo taken with Tyla & Zed.

Tyla loved sharing her weekend with Ralph. She hopes to have another opportunity with Ralph in the future.

Ralph visits Billy

Ralph and Billy's Weekend

On Friday when we got home Billy had fun introducing his favourite toys to Ralph, playing on Billy's trampoline and swing. But Ralph really liked the fish tank and meeting the fish best of all.

Later on that Friday night when Billy and Ralph went to bed he heard a noise coming from our room. It seems Ralph really took a shine to Billy's Dad's playstation portable game and played a lot of the game before he went to bed.

On Saturday Ralph woke up with a sleeping Billy (very cute).

Later on in the day Ralph read a book about Cats and Kittens which he really enjoyed. Ralph also went outside with Billy's Dad and Ralph liked playing in the trees to say hello to the local birds (no harm came to any birds!!!)

On Sunday Billy and Ralph played playstation together and on their own. Ralph hung out with Billy's Mum and watched a movie.

Just before Billy went to bed he gave Ralph a shoulder ride which he really enjoyed.

We have all had a great time with Ralph and look forward to seeing him again sometime. He is always welcome!!!

Ralph & Miss Barnett Hang Out

Ralph had a great time hanging out with Miss Barnett.

He got to ride Rosie the horse.

But he had to hang on tight!

He loved playing in the hay...

And climbing on the fence...

But best off all he loved hanging out with the sheep!

Ralph was a great farm cat and he is welcome at Miss Barnett's anytime!

Naughty Ralph's Easter Adventure

Miss Barnett took Ralph home for the Easter weekend. Ralph loves Easter as the thought of all those Easter Bunnies makes him lick his lips! Ralph quickly found Miss Barnett's stash of Easter eggs.

When Miss Barnett left the room the naughty little cat munched all of her Easter eggs! All that was left was the wrappers! Ralph was that full that he could hardly move and had to have a wee lie down.

What a naughty cat!!!

Ralph Learns Languages

In Room 1 we are learning to say "good morning" in lots of different languages. We are celebrating all the cultures of the children in our classroom and finding different countries on the globe. Ralph has been enjoying learning all the new greetings. He is learning to say:

Good Morning (English)
Kia Ora (Maori)
Namasté (Indian)
Ni Hao (Mandarin)
Bonjour (French)

Ralph and I watched some TV together.

Then we went outside and played on the trampoline with our friend Steggy.

Afterwards we dressed up to look cool.

Then we played with my monster trucks.

Later we had our milo.

Then it was time for bed.

Ralph visits Turi

Ralph was warmly welcomed at our home, especially because Turi was at home unwell when Miss Barnett rang us up and said Turi had been awarded "Star of the Week!" Awesome!

Turi had a big rest with Ralph the first day. On Saturday morning they had breakfast together and later on they both went for a walk to Nana's house.

On Sunday, Turi, Ariana and Mariah had lots of involvement with Ralph's care. They even introduced a friend for him, ginger cat!

Sunday morning Ralph became acquainted with Lily's kitten, Hamilton. They hit if off and became good friends.

Later that afternoon Ralph went to the beach with Lily and her family. Lily's Dad took pictures of them together. It was windy and sandy so Ralph hid in Lily's Mom's coat.

Ralph made friends with Rosie, Lily's Valentine's bear. They decided to be best friends!

After Lily went to bed Ralph decided to sit back and watch cartoons.

Saturday was a fine day. It was spent playing outside with Sujata, her brother and her little sister. The day was rather cool so Ralph stayed inside most of the day.

Sunday - Sujata and Ralph got up early and had some breakfast before they started their day together.

Ralph spent the day cat napping. It wasn't much of a day to do anything anyway!

Another lazy day for Ralph spent watching television with Sujata.

Ralph's broken left paw was fixed so Ralph won't be feeling pain anymore.

Last night with Sujata - another quiet day for Ralph as he is taking things easy - his paw seems to have healed well. Ralph packed his bag and is ready for his next adventure.

Naming the Cat

On the first day of school Miss Barnett showed all the children our new mascot. Everyone loved the cat. "What shall we call it?" the children asked. We then spent a long time brainstorming names for the cat. Everyone drew a picture of the cat and suggested a name. The names we came up with were:

Milo, Zebra, Sally, Fluffy, Sammy, Ralph, Coffee, Jake, Zorblow, Tyson, Kilometre & Herman

We voted on each of the names and the winner was RALPH. Have a look at our cool drawings!

The Great Mascot Hunt

Last year Miss Barnett found Maisy the Monkey looking lost on the shelves at Nature Discoveries. She thought that Maisy did not look like she was that happy and she needed some real nature discoveries with the children of Room 1. Maisy had such a marvellous year that Miss Barnett was determined to find a really great mascot for 2008.

The great mascot hunt began. Miss Barnett looked again in Nature Discoveries, The Warehouse, Toyworld, Arthur Barnett's, and K Mart and she could not find a great mascot anywhere. When she was driving home she stopped at Mosgiel $2 & Gifts to buy a plastic tablecloth for the playdough table. As she was walking down the aisle of the shop she thought she heard a strange rustling noise in the corner. Miss Barnett walked over to a large cane shelf and spotted a big black and white cat smiling happily to itself. That's it! thought Miss Barnett. That cat is coming with me! And that is how Ralph escaped from the dusty shop shelves and became a valued member of Room 1 at Pine Hill School.

This child gets to take Ralph home, take digital photographs and write in Ralph's journal. The entries in the journal then get published on this blog.
